공업화학은 유무기 화학을 기초로 하는 응용화학을 다루는 학문이다. 본 교과목에서는 석유 화학 공업 등 전통적인 분야뿐만 아니라, 최근 산업적으로 중요도가 높은 고분자, 반도체, 신재생 에너지 및 정밀화학을 포함한 다양한 첨단 기술 분야에 대하여 학습한다.

Industrial chemistry is an academic subject dealing with applied chemistry based on organic and inorganic chemistry. In this course, students will learn not only traditional fields such as the petrochemical industry, but also various high-tech fields including polymers, semiconductors, renewable energy, and fine chemistry, which are recently highly important industrially.
