세포를 구성하는 생물분자들의 기본특성과 에너지 생산을 이해하기 위하여 탄수화물 및 단백질의 구조, 기능 및 효소 기작 등과 함께 대사경로, 대사조절, 에너지 생산에 필요한 생체기작을 이론적으로 학습함과 동시에 이론적 이해에 도움이 되는 기초 생화학 실험을 진행한다.
